FrameThief is a toolbox for capturing hand-drawn frames and assembling them as animation. Image sources can include video camera — the old standby, and digital still camera — a new twist that allows animators to work in HDTV resolutions. One component, FrameSplicer, can be used to turn any QuickTime compatible video file into a DV stream that can be used in iMovie.
